Ostrobotnia, commonly referred to as Botta, is a building owned by the Pohjalaisten talosäätiö Ostrobotnia foundation. Located just beside the Parliament House and originally built as a hub and home for Ostrobothnian graduates, it is a significant piece of Finnish history. The 110-year-old walls of Botta have seen and heard it all, from secret meetings of the Jäger Movement to cheerful student life – and even the first beats of Helsinki’s clubbing culture.

Today Botta is also the home of the National Coalition Party and its organizations. We renewed the working spaces while staying true to the party values and building architecture. Daily politics happen right here: encounters, discussions, plans, debates… and maybe even for some celebrations.
