When Ragni Rissanen, the “Grand Old Lady” of hospitality, opened the Rivoli Jardin hotel in Kaartinkaupunki in 1984, she couldn’t have foreseen its transformation 40 years later. Now managed by Bob W, the property offers a tech-driven stay, blending digital customer service with a four-star experience and local charm.

Nestled in a peaceful courtyard, Bob W Kaarti features 55 studios, perfect for longer stays. The rooms seamlessly blend vintage PlayStations and digital cameras with art and details specifically designed for this property. The interior design’s “local story” references Kaartinkaupunki, with nods like Helsinki’s oldest fire station and “President´s band”, i.e. Kaartin soittokunta. The color scheme pays tribute to the original ambiance with our own variation of “Rivoli Green.” The overall aesthetic is a relaxed mix of design, vintage, art, and unique details, of which both we and Bob are particularly proud.
