The second floor of Helsinki’s Katajanokka passenger terminal was renovated in response to the Port of Helsinki’s vision: to make the port the most efficient one in the world for all its users and stakeholders. To improve the passenger experience, the project focused mainly on streamlining the customer path.

Better acoustics, lighting, and new signage brought comfort to the premises. Numerous seats, a cozy café-restaurant, and clean toilets were some of the customers’ wishes when developing the facilities. Various zones were desired for the waiting areas, such as a more peaceful area, and more charging points for passenger use. The renovation and revitalization of the passenger terminal’s customer facilities and services offer a pleasant beginning to a successful voyage. Ahoy!
