This is a Call for Action: colleagues, join us!

Today design studios Amerikka, Fyra, Kakadu, KOKO3, RÄIHÄ Interiors, Silvana, and Studio Joanna Laajisto have signed the Finnish Interior Design Declares petition. It calls for collaboration across studios and companies to lighten the environmental load. This is a call for action: colleagues, join us! We invite all interior architecture and interior design firms in Finland to consider our responsibility as designers of the built environment. The international “Built Environment Declares” petition movement, founded in Great Britain, proposes measures for developing our built environment with sustainable methods. It is a commitment to take positive action in response to climate breakdown by decreasing our share of the environmental load. The goal is to achieve a renewing built environment that improves the vitality and living conditions of all organisms. The signed declaration can be found here.
