The renewed Original Sokos Hotel Helsinki is a 1930s classic in the corner of Kluuvikatu. It’ll be a while before we can all enjoy the result, but it will be worth it! The hotel is operated by Sokotel. Aino, the design team leader, explains: “Our wonderful city and its numerous iconic details have served as our inspiration, for example, the city’s gilded cupolas and the Central Railway Station’s monumental light-bearers. The new hotel makes you fall in love with Helsinki through surprising details.”
