The Society of Swedish Literature in Finland moved to a beautiful 50’s building in Kruununhaka, Helsinki.
The plan for the new space was aiming for a contemporary touch of a classic office environment with modern interpretation of SLS tradition.
The objective of the space was to visualize and strengthen the identity and showcase the different fields of expertise what SLS is standing for. Glass walls open up the individual rooms and large common areas are introduced in order to enhance the communication and collaboration. An atmosphere of intellectual knowledge is interpreted as an elegant and fresh - yet still traditional - office by paying attention to details.
